Night VFR Rating – NVFR(H)
This rating allowed you to fly at night, under Visual Flight Navigation Rules. Prior to obtaining a NVFR(H) Rating, you will require either a Private or Commercial Helicopter Licence.Please note:

All flight training and assessment conducted pursuant to Part 141 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998 (CASR)
This rating allowed you to fly at night, under Visual Flight Navigation Rules. Prior to obtaining a NVFR(H) Rating, you will require either a Private or Commercial Helicopter Licence.
The Theory Component consists of a pass in the Touchdown Helicopters in-house night VFR theory exam which has a 100% pass mark and consists of the following subjects:
- Night VFR specific Air Law
- Navigational Aids
- Night VFR Instrumentation
- Night VFR Procedures
Flight Component – A minimum of 14 hours flight experience is required. This includes dual flight time, split into general night flying and navigation exercises and 1 hour of solo flight in the circuit pattern.
Endorsement on at least 1 radio navigational aid.
A flight test consisting of a minimum of 2.5 hours flight time
